DECORSTONE, a leading company in the production of urban furniture and decor for public and private spaces, has signed a collaboration agreement with the administration of the Faculty of Urbanism and Architecture at the Technical University of Moldova (UTM).

The first phase of this partnership focused on upgrading the square in front of the faculty with modern urban furniture, designed to offer students and visitors a welcoming and functional space. The donation included benches, developed in collaboration with Mihai Stamati, a lecturer at UTM, along with waste bins, transforming the area into a more comfortable and functional place for students and visitors.

DECORSTONE at the International Urbanism Conference

On November 18, 2024, DECORSTONE participated in the International Conference "Current Issues in Urbanism and Architecture," organized by UTM's Faculty of Urbanism and Architecture. The company's team delivered a presentation titled: "Strategy and the Need for Developing Relaxation and Leisure Spaces Through Their Integration in Parks, Public Gardens, Squares, and Pedestrian Alleys."
The presentation emphasized the importance of well-designed urban furniture and sustainable solutions for transforming public spaces into areas that encourage social interaction and relaxation. "DECORSTONE has been investing for years in the development of urban furniture, aiming to modernize urban spaces," highlighted Ștefan Botezatu.

Student Competition – Smart Urban Furniture Design

As part of these initiatives, DECORSTONE is launching a competition for students at the Faculty of Urbanism and Architecture. The company encourages young talents to propose innovative smart urban furniture designs, combining aesthetics, functionality, and the city's cultural identity.
"Through this competition, we want to provide students with a platform to express their creativity and contribute to transforming our cities," stated Ștefan Botezatu. The best projects will be awarded, and the winners will have the opportunity to see their ideas implemented in DECORSTONE's future projects.
